wrestler Sangram Singh

Wrestler-actor and reality TV star Sangram Singh supports several charities and social causes. He has done his bit, by encouraging the adoption of cows. He has created awareness about animal welfare for Minister for Women & Child Development Maneka Gandhi’s animal care centre. He’s also adopted a school in Satara. Now, a scholarship programme has been named after the 30-year-old.
The scholarship will be awarded to 50 deserving students every year by the Universal Group of Institutions, which is affiliated with the Punjab Technical University that offers several courses in the fields of engineering, management, commerce, computer science, etc.
“I am glad to know that I will be able to help some students. I feel honoured,” says Sangram. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also added a chapter on Sangram’s life to the seventh standard Hindi textbooks.
“Through this scholarship, students will get several opportunities in both sports and education. I want to create as many opportunities as possible for people inclined towards sports,” says Sangram, who plans to start a wrestling league in India soon.
Even after completing an MA in History, the wrestler feels that he hasn’t studied enough. “My elder brother is a lecturer in a college in Haryana, and my eldest sister was a teacher. I feel they are more educated than I am. I, too, used to dream of becoming a teacher. Teaching is a respectful job. Teachers lay the foundation for society,” says Sangram, who will also visit the college to meet and encourage the recipients of the scholarship at least twice a year.

baaghi review | baaghi movie review | vanilla news

baaghi box office collection

Tiger Shroff has come a long way from attempting to look the chocolate boy he was not. The uber sexy hunk looks extremely stunning in the movie, and one has very little time to pay attention to his acting skills (which are good by the way) from seeing all that glistening skin! Tiger shows some extremely excellent, top class action stunts in the movie—his kicks are perfect, his punches well placed, and the combos, oh my! Poetry! The man can dance, play a cool spoilt brat on his road to awakening, and complement an equally sexy woman with ease. 5 stars to Tiger! Rawwwr!
Shraddha Kapoor is almost on the same page, I say almost cuz no time to look away from yummy Tiger. The actor who most would have thought suits shy, petite, pretty roles only breaks all presumptions and comes across as this kick-ass, defiant, rugged woman who can take care of herself in the face of gun-wielding thugs sent by daddy dearest.
Debutant director Sabbir Khan’s Baaghi is an action thriller sprinkled with romance. The story line is fast-paced and both the actors, and the villain are larger than life as the setting demanded. With all ingredients very well mixed, Baaghi has the potential to become the best action feature to come out of the Bollywood factory in recent times.
